Life in this vast, beautiful land can brings out individual self-reliance and independence while showing ways to live closer to the land. At the same time it can teach everyone who lives here how dependent we all are on each other and how each of us can be a valuable member of the community in which we live.

Nunavut is not like southern Canada. For everyone who moves to Nunavut there is much to be learned.
