Qikiqtarjuaq

Qikiqtarjuaq, home to 562, is an island community, located on the north shore of Baffin Island along the Davis Strait at the northern end of Auyuittuq National Park . The island is 16 km long by 12 km wide.

Sometimes called the iceberg capital of the world, Qikiqtarjuaq is home to walruses, polar bears, seals, narwhals, belugas and occasional bowhead whales. Like many Nunavut communities, residents enjoy lots of outdoor adventure including dog-sledding, rock climbing, hiking, and snowshoeing on glaciers. http://www.qikiqtarjuaq.com/
